Have I been ripped off?

One of the reasons for me writing this blog is that the atlas correction I had done cost $250. This is a lot of money and I have high expectations, especially as it is advertised as a one-off that never needs to be done again. The AtlasPROfilax brochure states

"In some cases, the return to health can happen quite quickly but in others, patience will be necessary. After the correction of the atlas, your body will wake up progressively year after year. As we had already informed you, in regard to your own state of health, the reactions of regeneration and self-healing can be more or less powerful. They can appear the same days, weeks, months, or even years after the correction of the Atlas."

So basically there is an out clause! I want to use this blog over time to record any changes in my body as objectively as possible, so I can look back and say "Yes, it did make a difference" or "Nope, no change."

    2. Hello!Sorry I've taken so long to get back to you...somehow I missed your comment.
It's now three years later and my neck is still more flexible than before the procedure, however my usual patterns of posture have meant it is considerably stiffer.
My final feeling is that this procedure did help to release a lot of tension in my neck, which then has built up again due to me not being consistent with exercises that would maintain the flexibility in my neck.
What I do have, is hope that the exercises will work. Before this procedure, I had no hope that my neck would ever be flexible again. The loosening of that tension lasted about two years without me doing anything special to maintain it, and has freed me up from that feeling of hopelessness.
Would I recommend it? Hmmmm...maybe yes, as long as you are willing to embark on a journey of incorporating yoga or stretching into your life to maintain the results. The practitioner was fine, not amazing in terms of therapeutic personality, but I felt safe with him.
